Chinese Festival
Ryde High School invited 42 Year 5 pupils from Swanmore Middle School to come to the school and participate in a Chinese Festival on the 23 March 2010. The festival was organised by Ryde High School post 16 students who opted to learn Chinese as part of their enrichment programme.
Primary Language Festival 2010
As a Language College, Ryde High School has been supporting language teaching in primary schools in the Ryde area by providing language teachers to deliver weekly French and Spanish lessons to pupils in Years 3 and 4. Building upon these established links, Ryde High School hosted a Primary Languages Festival, which was organised and run by a group of our Year 11 students who are working towards the Foreign Language Leaders Award.
Ryde High Politics Day
Post 16 and Year 11 politics students were given the opportunity to quiz local politicians from the main political parties during a recent event held at Ryde High School.
