There is effective extra-curricular, enrichment and study support provision. The school has collapsed sessions for PSHE and cross-curricular themes in, for example, Enterprise, Gifted and Talented, Citizenship and Languages. 87% of parents (parent questionnaire) believe that there are many opportunities for students to participate after school and in enrichment activities.
Students get involved in many teacher and student led activities such as Ryde Carnival, Global Rock, School Drama and Music Productions, Shakespeare Festival, Student Council, Sport, and Young Enterprise which are all well attended with high participation. Almost 50% students are involved in study support activities, lunchtime or after school opportunities. One hundred and five students were involved in the 2009 Global Rock Production. We were awarded the Artsmark Gold Award (May 2008), the International Schools Award for the third time (2009) and the E-Twinning Award (2009).
