Sports Centre

The Sports Hall can accommodate a wide range of sports including five a side football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, cricket and various other activities. The Sports Hall has a viewing area for spectators, making it an ideal venue for sporting events and is available for hire by the general public.

Also contained within the Sports Centre is a recently refurbished fitness suite. The fitness suite contains a wide range of equipment including cardiovascular machines, resistance machines and free weights. Our friendly highly qualified fitness staff will be happy to show you how to use all the equipment safely and effectively and will design you a personalised fitness programme based on your individual goals.

Astroturf

Multi Use Games Area

This superb fully floodlit area has the capacity for football, five a side football, netball, tennis and hockey, or just as a space if you have your own activities in mind. The school and community use this area extensively during lesson time, out of hours learning, evening and weekends. This is an excellent training area for any club or group and is available for hire by the general public.

Dance Studio

Ryde High's latest additional to its performing arts department is a professional, purpose built performance space for dance students. This facility is an excellent venue to improve and develop dance techniques for our students and for the community.

Ryde Studio Theatre

Ryde Studio Theatre is Ryde High School's performing arts theatre, offering an amazing resource for students as well as a fabulously versatile space for use by the wider community.

Ryde Studio Theatre is a purpose built studio theatre space ideal for all forms of performance including drama, dance and music. The space is also ideal for conferences and seminars with floor to ceiling white projection wall ideal for PowerPoint presentations. The space seats an audience of 170 comfortably but capacity will vary dependant on individual requirements.

Conference Suite

Opened in September 2009, Ryde High School's conference room is an outstanding high specification meeting room, which provides staff and outside agencies with a superb modern meeting room. Our Conference Room is available for hire by the community.
